It's hard to explain the concepts of "countries" or "patriotism" to an almost-three-year-old. Over the 4th of the July weekend, we were singing Happy Birthday to America. Will had lots of questions:
"Where America?" (Looking around, as if he's confused where this extra person is.)
"She nice?"
"She like having a birthday?"

"Mama, you don't come in the bathroom with me. I need pri-vat-see."
