48 hours

Until tonight, we had made it a full 48 hours without watching any of Shrek. For those of you who don't know, Will currently has an obsession with Shrek. As soon as he walks in the living room and sees the T.V., he starts screaming "Shek! Shek!" Or, he may even grab your leg and pull you into the room so that you can play it for him. From the first notes of the movie, he's dancing. He's watched it so many times that he can anticipate what's coming next and tell us (in his own way) what we're about to see. His favorite part is when the princess sings and then the bird blows up. He sings along with her and then says "Boom!" In short, it give him so much joy that I can't deny it to him.

Forty-eight hours. A nice break. I don't anticipate it happening again any time soon.
