More!

One of Will's favorite words, along with 'no', is 'more'. He says it and signs it at the same time, and he's started to use it for anything. Where it was once reserved only to request more food, now he uses it anytime he wants more of something: more playing, more bathtime, more stories, etc. Unfortunately, he apparently is deluded when it comes to realizing when Mama and Daddy are capable of providing "more". In the past week, he has requested (actually, demanded might be a better word) more of the following things. Needless to say, we weren't often successful in obtaining "more".

  • More runners during the Mercedes Marathon that came by our house

  • More squirrels on our back deck during breakfast

  • More cars on the road (clearly he doesn't know what he's wishing for)

  • More trucks. Just in general.

  • More "get you" (aka me tickling Will) WHILE I AM DRIVING

  • More airplanes

  • More blueberries, when he's just eaten the last one in our house

I suppose I should be flattered and should take advantage of this time where he thinks I can do anything, including providing the world to him. I know it won't last long.
